Insightful interview with the owners

Slideshow

This family house sits adjacent to Mt Hobson Reserve, looking up the western slopes to the summit.

The bright red 5.2m high entry door - the Sang Door - welcomes visitors into the double height entry foyer.

The main living areas are on the ground floor with the kitchen, dining, family rooms and lounge flowing out to the outdoor courtyard with the Summer House and swimming pool.

The bedrooms with ensuites and bathrooms are upstairs with the master bedroom suite looking out over the reserve.

Water is a feature in this home, enhancing the good Feng Shui with ponds and fountains located by the main entry and in the private courtyard.

The owners and their children enjoy the open spaces with plenty of room to grow.

Having lived in the house for several years we asked what special qualities they most enjoyed. The owners said it was the tranquil atmosphere that welcomes them home every day.
